Anyone using the new Summit Carb?

Hey I got the latest catalog from Summit yesterday and noticed they have a new Four Barrel Carb. Anyone used one of these, Your thoughts?

The price is pretty good!

That looks like one of those Holleys that didn't sell well, now rebranded for Summit.

It is an old Ford design that Holley picked up then dropped. Summit picked it up and go the original designer to come back and redesign the spots where it had problems.

There is an article out on the web about a guy putting one on his 302 and had very good luck with it. Google around, it is very well written and extensive. If I had not lucked into a Holley 750 DP for almost nothing I would have bought one to try. I may still.

Sounds like it would make a great carb for a 318. Limiting factor is the 600 cfm.
