Anyone using this pinion snubber?

I'm kind of using it. I installed it but it is alot taller than the original so even if it's all the way down it will hit going over minor bumps. I will just bolt it in at the track when I get there. I'm using it in my 63 dart.
 
Had a friend make one for me years ago. Welded some round tubing to the stock snubber bolt-on plate; threaded a rubber bump stop onto the top of it. Worked great except my ex-wife thought it looked 'obscene'.
