Are the shift lengths the same for 727 & 904 ?

Hey everyone. So I have a '74 Duster with a 727 and the center console floor shift. I am transferring the 727 into a Dart Sport that I have along with the center console and brackets. My question is this. Do the 727 and 904 tranys have the same shift length per gear? I don't want to swap the transmission just yet if I can weld the shifter bracket in right now to allow me to shift through all gears and it line up to the corresponding gear selection on the center console. Yes, they're the same.

There is no special console or shifter parts for for either tranny.

I figured the console and shifter set up would work in correlation with either the 904 or 727, but I just didn't want to have everything mocked up to the 904 and then when the 727 gets put in and all hooked up and have everything not line up because the shift lengths might be different when I install the console and have the shifter poke through the slit where the gear indicators are and they are off.
