So what would you recommend then? I saw some Hellas that looked good, and Summit does a Halogen conversion with the H4 bulb.. What's good to use?

Summit's units are Chinese trash. Hella units are well made of good materials but don't perform well so Cibié units are what to get if you want to spend for good replaceable-bulb headlamps; see here.
Harley-Davidson units if you gotta have a clear-lens appearance but still want lamps that actually let you see safely, see threads already linked above.
GE Night Hawk H6024NH units if you want the best cheap headlights available, see threads already linked.
Put in relays and good wiring and aim the lamps correctly, no matter what lamps you wind up choosing.
