I don't recall the actual length of my valves, but they were the long valves that mp sold to get a 2.00 installed height. You need that height to get enough retainer to guide clear because of the cam lift,What’s that valve length again?

The 2.14 Ti valves I have weigh 85 grams with a 6 inch stem.I wonder what a titanium valve weighs ?
The NASCAR stuff is usually 2.14 on a 6 or 7 mm stem and run 500 miles at 9 k.So You wouldn't run a Hemi under any circumstances, I mean, a long valve with a 2.25" head diameter & a 5/16" stem is total catastrophe...
I installed longer 5/16 valves in my econo heads. The rocker stands were machined off when I bought the blown motor but had short valves. I am using T&D rockers. Thanks killer6. I was having a Brain fart last night on there length.
Longer is heavier, but all so worth it.
I think we are getting off topic here. I never said that smaller valve diameters would break or that they cannot be reliable in a givenI installed longer 5/16 valves in my econo heads. The rocker stands were machined off when I bought the blown motor but had short valves. I am using T&D rockers.
As I said, they were prototypes, the member even posted a pic(s).....hoping they chime in....I know IQ52 was retiring from this stuff....not sure which forum/thread it's buried in....Conical springs come in double springs, not sure about triple. Less weight, lighter retainer. Never heard of beehive triples....
