ATI Super Damper 6.1

I will be using an ATI super damper on my 6.1 there are three options for this engine .
918432 - 5% OD
918437 - 17% OD
918438 - 13% UD

I'm thinking it for a N/A engine it would be the last one 13% under-drive .

Any-one used it , comments ? .

The engine is going into my Valiant , no P/S , A/C .

Your thinking is right. Just know that ATI under-sizes the hub and you will need a machine shop to hone it to the diameter of the crank.

Weren't there rumors of underdrive pulleys causing engine failure on early Gen III Hemis?

I AM NOT saying any of these dampeners are problematic. I am simply looking for some clarification. Also, what do you thing an under-drive pulley is worth in terms of HP?

I've probably put 100 of em on with no issues other than hub sizing.

I'm not expecting much if any HP gain , I have an ATI super damper on a 6 cylinder and think they are worth it from a reliability stanpoint .
