Axle Flange Gasket

Ok, so like i put the rearend back in and stuff, but didnt put the axles in cuz i didnt have the axle flange gaskets. well now i need them, and i've gone to several parts stores, all having to special order them. anyone know where to get them or like the part number or specs or anything. because napa needed the specs of them. do i even need the gaskets??? thanks. dave

I made my own and yes you need em unless you need to oil your wheels regularly. Lok at the material the old ones are made of and duplicate. I used a thins foam pad that was about 1/8 " thick but after being compressed by bolting the axle in they were VERY thin but still doing a good job.

I got mine from the dealership last time I needed to get some, even they may have to order them in though depending upon where you live.
