Just pulled my axles out of my 8 3/4 to change out the axles studs to ARP and noticed that my passenger one (i think) the retainer plate is all bent to hell and it looks like my adjuster has been rubbing on the axle flange pretty bad to where it almost looks like it is grinding it down. Is this common and if not where can I find new plates and retainer. If I didnt ask this right its cause I thinking to hard, Any help???

hopefully you can see what im talking about in these pics

Never saw that before and can't think of any reason it could happen except someone in the past possibly did it while pressing off/on new bearings. I believe Moser's sells new retainers.

I have some new bearing retainers (both types) and axle bearings also.
Thanks, Mark

.................I would say the adjustment was way wrong when they were bolting in the axles.....making the axle too long and they just sucked it in with the nuts on the studs, almost looks like the adjuster is cross threaded.......u must of had excessive play.........they may have pried it out with a cat bar at 1 time............kim.....
