I bought some moser axles shafts and when installed one has 1/2 inch play and the other 1/8 inch is this normal or is my mechanic screwing something up

I believe you need to remove the thrust block if you have a sure grip. You shouldn't have any play with what I'm assuming are green bearings on Moser axles.
A pictures paints a thousand words. What bearings do you have?

I will check tomorrow and see what bearings were used because I didn't buy the moser green bearings and it is a sure grip. Thanks mopar friends.

Is there an axle end play adjuster still there.

As far as I know there are only 2 bearings available, the green bearings and stock tapered bearings with an end play adjuster. If you didn't buy green bearings it sounds like either the axles are too short or your mechanic didn't adjust the axle end play adjuster
