As I'm getting the 13in brakes from dr diff on my 1971 Dart I need 17in wheels ad have been looking at the LT-III wheels from ET Mags, the 17x7 come with 4-1/4 BS. Anyone her who have this combo or similar?

These are American Racing Torq Thurst SL, Front is a 17x7 with a 215/45/17. Offset is 19mm with Dr Diff 13" front brakes. I'm thinking 4.25" Back spacing isn't enough, mine are 4.75". The Dr Diff 13" push the wheel out about 0.125" per side over 73' and up OEM front discs.

Lot of folks find 94-04 Mustang fitment works well.

17 x 8 with 4 7/8 backspace and 245/45/17 BF Goodrich sport comp tires. If possible I recommend the use of a tire and wheel simulator to insure proper fitment/ back spacing in your wheel wells before you order.

Yeah dano, I'm a bit worried about the offset beeing to small.

devilchicken, are you running 245 in the front? I presume 4-7/8 backspace was a custom order?

Yes all four tires are 245s and yes the wheels are the cast versions and have a custom backspacing

So if you have 4-7/8 backspace on a 8in rim that would make the "front space" 4-1/8 as the overall width is 9in.
So for the 7in rim whith 4-1/4" back space the "front space" would be 3-3/4in so actually sticking out 3/8in less than the 17x8 devil chicken are running so then the question is, it there a difference in fender clearance between the 71 Dart Swinger and the 71 Scamp?
