Hey all, planning on starting a BB swap on my '72 Dart, and want to work from the ground up, i have a '79 Dodge magnum (b body) that im disposing of, and am wondering if its possible to swap the front disc's onto an A body, ive seen it done on M bodies, so by theory it should be possible, right?

thanks,
John

Should bolt right up with the large ball joint uca's or DrDiff's adapter.

Additional note: your 79 may have the larger disks and if so will require 15" rims[/QUOTE]

The Magnum WILL have the 11 3/4 inch rotors.

There I learned somthing about the later B's, thank you!

If your wanting to stay with the original 14" rims, not all is lost. Sell the bracket for the larger disk brakes as people are always looking for them and just get a bracket for the smaller, off any F, M or J car up to 1986-7 as they are very easy to find and they bolt right up to the spindle. Of course you will need the smaller rotors too but the calipers are the same regardless.

PS I'm also not sure about which flex hoses you may need for the setup but there are write-ups on the subject here on FABO too

Front mount, get 73-76 A body hoses which is the way I'd go unless you have a sway bar.

im going 15's and BBP all around, no sway bar she's going to be a drag car.

where do i find the UCA i need or does anyone have a set for sale?
