Thanks plumkrazee70, just melted my cable and was I thinking I could go shorter, but now I'm thinking a 4ft cable might be the better option for a 727.

This one is supposed to be the perfect fit. I got to go with the quicksilver shifter I had, but never put it in. I believe it's thicker also.

All depends on where you mounted your shifter in the car! Going to try the 4ft cable first.
