i keep seeing B/RB or B or just RB for engine models/series, but im not sure which engine is which, and which one my 318 would qualify as (if either.) im guessing the 273, 318 and 340 are A engines, or maybe just the 273/318, and 360/383 are B engines and everything higher is an RB engine?
can somebody please rub some knowledge on my brain please :)

B = 383/400

RB= 413/440 (413 is an RB right?)

RB has a slightly higher deck height. RB = Raised Block.

Actually

Polly 318 = A engine

273,318 (67-93?) 340,360 =LA

318-360 94 and up Magnum

350-316-383-400 B engine

413-426-440 RB Their was also a 383 RB wich is rarer then a 350 B engine. :D
