A buddy of mine gave me a set of b1 440 pistons. He sold all his drag racing stuff but had these left over. Will and indy head work with these pistons?.. he said the valve relief was different but he wasnt sure by how much
call Indy and act like your interested in purchasing heads for those pistons.A buddy of mine gave me a set of b1 440 pistons. He sold all his drag racing stuff but had these left over. Will and indy head work with these pistons?.. he said the valve relief was different but he wasnt sure by how much
I called indy.. the guy that answered was a prickcall Indy and act like your interested in purchasing heads for those pistons.
are the pistons flattops? depends on how big of a cam you are thinking, and valve size
They are in the wrong spot for std. valve angles...won't work. Go with B1 heads, better stuff anyway!!
you must have "not" acted like u were interested in buying heads !I called indy.. the guy that answered was a prick
I told him straight out what i had for pistons and wanted to know if his heads were compatible. Because id rather use indy stuff.you must have "not" acted like u were interested in buying heads !
wiered I tell u, weired !I told him straight out what i had for pistons and wanted to know if his heads were compatible. Because id rather use indy stuff.
Who ever it was i was talking to was a snotty bugger..Russ is a douche bag. Sucks that he own INDY products and has such a big chunk of the market
No matter what the valve angle, the placement is wrong so anything else will hit the top of the piston outside of the valve pocket.it says b-1 orig=15% valve angles=same as stock=same as indy. do you plan on a 4.30" stroke and a 7.00" rod? and the 1.43" comp distance with a stock block with that stroke and rod will be down the hole about .080" . call the piston manufacturer . and the valve size and cam size factors in
4.30 STROKE? AND A 7.00 ROD ? -----------4.250 , AND 7.1 , I`VE HEARD OF .No matter what the valve angle, the placement is wrong so anything else will hit the top of the piston outside of the valve pocket.
I wouldn't use their **** if it was best stuff on planet. There's no need to act the way they do thereWho ever it was i was talking to was a snotty bugger..
