Back Yard Find Restored

This peddle car has been kicking around my back yard for close to 30 years. My father-in-law bought it at a garage sale for my son when he was 2. My grandaugther plays with it now and wanted to fix it up.

She wanted a Dodge Dart just like Grandpa's so we did the best we could.

And here's the proud new owner with her restored ride!

Very nice. I had an old fire engine that we got at a thrift sale back when I was about 3. We eventually painted it up similar to that and then gave it away to some friends for their two boys. I had more fun in that thing. My 3 year old daughter now has her own fire engine pedal car that was a CL score. She likes it, but it doesn't compare to her battery powered Jeep Hurricane with FM radio and MP3 player...
