Really? I thought that backup lights on our cars all came from a 3 prong switch screwed into the transmission. That's the way my 69 was (before I converted it to a 4 speed). So you are saying that the reverse light switch in a 67 is in the console? And I thought I knew a lot about A Bodies.

65-68 A Bodies with a floor shift the B/U light switch is indeed attached to the shifter. If a column shift the B/U light switch is located at the end of the steering column inside the cabin.

Hi Mike, the 3 prong switch(single for 67) is the NSS switch. Like 65Dman said they moved it in 69 I believe.

Turn in your card...

67 for sure and I think a year later and some earlier had the switch on the console or the steering column

By the way Steve, after you get your replacement, take the one you have apart, and fix the plastic. Then you will have a spare.
