Question about antennas for 69 barracuda, what style is correct? My car has a telescoping type and ive seen some that have fixed type, can anyone explain?

Been discussed before but never found exactly what was determining factor.
Every 67 I've owned has telescoping mast. 68 has rigid mast.
A fixed mast has better reception so destination may have been considered.
