Did the barracuda bumpers in 68 have a number from chrysler? I am looking to possibly rechrome the ones I have but if they are aftermarket, I may just save the money and replace with aftermarket. Is there any way to determine if Bumpers are factory or not in old mopars??

My question is are they stamped from factory with any distingushing marks? I cant seem to find any, other than one has the letters M & M stamped into them. Kind of leads me to believe that they may have either been replated years ago, or are aftermarket.

only number I come up with is 100-1267 ebay has some and amd has some too Kind of pricey
oh ya 67-68-69 frt /rear all the same

I bought aftermarket ebay ones five years ago and am happy with them. Its cheaper then replateing.

There are no numbers or stamps on original bumpers. They've only offered repro for a few years.

Another confirmation that there are no numbers on the bumpers.

I bought new ones AMD about 4 years ago and they are holding up very well. I did the research then and it was cheaper to buy new ones over having re-chrome.
I sold my old ones, good drivers, which made the new ones even cheaper by offsetting the price.

I think "Vans" had the best prices. 300.00 from the regular store but, they have an ebay store.

without holes means without bumperettes/ bumper guards

their ebay store - 269.00 ea. shipping included - still the cheapest and great customer service and fast shipping.
