What battery group size fits in the stock battery tray? My current battery is a group 24 but I cannot find any group 24 batteries that are the AGM style.

Also do the AGM style still get acid/corrosion on the terminals or do they remain clean?
 
Probably varies with the year of the car, and everybody is holding those cards close. I know early A's have a different tray. I just measure my tray and pe-ruse Autozone's site since they give dimensions. Note where the + & - terminals are also, and whether top or side post. I found a battery for my M-B diesel $40 cheaper and lighter w/ more cranking amps that way.
