Is there a quick way to confirm whether a big block pump is standard or high volume? Got a couple new ones hanging around but not sure if they are the M63HV I need for my 470 build.

High volume has to be taller than non high volume pumps. Only way it can happen in my minds eye. Some are stamped HV.

Unfortunately I don’t have a known stock pump to compare. I was hoping someone had the rotor heights. Neither of these are marked so may be new stock pumps

I would say from that comparison the two in your original post are indeed HV oil pumps.

Std will be around 1-3/4".
HV kit for a std was 1/4" thick
3" bolts pictures below....

Mine are 1 3/4”. Thanks for the help. Anyone have a write up on prepping/blueprinting these HV pumps prior to use?
