BB TTI 2" header hot start problem

Someone on here wiser than me suggested welding a nut to the front RH framerail. Then run a batt cable from your RH cyl head to that nut. Do the same in the rear for the neg batt cable since the battery is in the trunk. This then forms a great ground path for the starter. And as others mentioned, I ran a 1/0 cable from a Ford solenoid in the trunk to the starter positive side.

I followed that advice, use a prod mini-starter, Hooker Super Comp headers wrapped around the starter, and my 10.5 CR 408 cranks and starts like a champ. Your bigger engine will too if you can feed the starter properly and get the crank timing pulled back to something reasonable (mine is at about 16 deg).
