The left front turn signal on my '65 Dart doesn't work. The other three blink quite nicely. So I figure a burnt out bulb. I remove the amber lense and try to remove the old bulb. But nothing is happening.

If I recall right these old style bulbs don't screw in or out. There's a trick to them but my memory is hazy.

Do I push on the bulb a little bit and turn to the left or to the right? Or am I way off base?

Help!:?

(embarassed but need help!)

push and turn counter clock wise.
If it breaks use needle nose pliers and
do the same.

The bad light bulb is out and a new one is in! Thanks to mopardude318 and monook!
Knowing the correct direction to get the bulb out was really very helpful (thanks monook)!

You are welcome, now you can make a left turn at an intersection
With out people giving you the number 1 sign.

Grab it with some gloves or a rag or something especially if the glass is discolored.

I'd also spray it with WD-40 after you take the bulb out just to prevent corrosion and to get the new bulb in easier.
