Bellhousing vs flywheel size

I posted this question in the drivetrain forum, but no responses, so I thought maybe someone in this section might be able to help answer a question for me. Are there any differences in a SB belhousing if a 130t or 143t flywheel is used, meaning, are there two different SB belhousings? Will a 10.5" clutch work on either flywheel? Thanks.

You cannot put a different size flywheel in a given bell, because the starter cannot move. More teeth means larger diameter, plain and simple, and the starter would have to be moved out or in, depending.

130 tooth = 10.5 inch clutch and flywheel and bell

143 tooth = 11 inch clutch and flywheel and bell

there is no mixing and matching....for a SB in an A body you will be best off with 10.5 inch. as 11 inch is not very common. The 11 inch is seen more commonly on B-bodies or bigger cars with big blocks

I thought the starter would be an issue. I have a 5.9L 143t factory mopar flywheel. It must have been for a truck or something. Thanks everyone!
