Hey all,
I am looking for feedback from the ones that have a same or similar installation.
I have a 74 Duster - Just installed the Borgenson Steering box with the Bergman Auto Craft Coupler so I didn't have to modify the steering shaft. -Disclaimer this is not a negative review or information regarding either products so please keep opinions out of it.
I'm running into a slight issue. The shaft coming from the steering box and the coupler are not mating all the way. I have about 1/2 inch before the safety screw can drop into the space between the front and back spline.
I reached out to Peter Bergman and he suggested that the steering shaft got bumped so I should pull on it to get the remainder of the distance but that didn't help at all.
I'm just looking for anyone that has done this install and if you were able to mate the coupler all the way on to the steering box shaft.
