Best intake manifold

when doing my turbo build it was said to use a single plane intake. the dual plane don't work as efficiently. all the good sp intakes are air gap style. just get a holley strip dominator, eddy victor 340, eddy victor, super victor, m1. i use the victor 340.

My Mazda has a dual stage intake. It was a noticeable drop in low end torque when defeated. Boosted applications are affected by runner length too and therefor need to be selected by application or what your willing to live with as a trade off.

How do you like the victor 340? How come you choose that over the super victor?

i already had it and just welded in injector bungs for efi conversion. with the blow through set up it worked very well. boost is a great equalizer.

It was powder coated clear. It was done about 9 years ago. I think I am going to just leave whatever new intake i get raw.

That's understandable considering your last experience, but please keep in mind that your plan will bring other issues to your table later. There are many threads here on FABO about keeping a new intake clean. Happy reading!
