What would be the best size steering wheel to use with manual steering? I just converted from power steering with a 14" steering wheel and it seems excessively hard to turn. Stock was a 16" but I don't like how thin the rim is. Would a 16" from Grant be a good candidate for making steering effort easier and give me a thicker rim?

I like the feel of a 15" wheel but it won't make a huge difference between that and the 14" you currently have. On my Duster with manual steering, I am running a 13" wheel only because it is setup perfect for drag racing.

Factory manual cars came with a school bus sized steering wheel in the 60’s.
Narrow tires and full of air all help.
Adjusting the caster takes some of the load off the pivot axis. That helps as well.
