Best speedometer cable available?

Looking to replace my 43 yo speedo cable with a new one. I heard that a lot of the ones available do not have the metal core. Anyone have a source for factory type cables?

Try AMS obsolete, that's all they do is nos parts.

Nothing like a factory part. This is the one I replaced mine with. Works great, fit great.

I just replaced the same on my 73 with the push lock style connector and it came the next day over the counter.
This new replacement has a steel center cable but no grommet.

How accurate is it? Is it worth the cost?

My GPS speedo is dead on accurate. I've checked it going through the traps at the drags and I've had a police friend radar me.

IMO it is worth the cost for quite a few reasons.
