Got my hands on an RPM performer intake manifold but it looks a little worn, whats the best way to bring it back to life?

Glass bead blasting will make it look new. Sand blasting will make it look flat dull gray. When I redo an intake I usually fog (real light coats) the intake with clear coat. That keeps anything from getting into the pores of the intake. Put the clear on too heavy and it will turn yellow.

x2....the only thing to add is use fresh glass bead, it looks "cleaner" . As the glass breaks up it gets powdery and the finish looks duller

Glass bead and the a few coats of hi heat aluminum paint will do the trick. Going on three years now with mine and not showing any wear. Dirt/oil just wipes off and it stays looking like new.
