Ya, @Bigboy 68 told me he sent you some cones and bigger gear set last week. I guess we see if he keeps true to his word ?

He will. I wasn't questioning anybody's word here, just giving an update. Bob has kept in touch with me the whole time. He even responded to my latest update.

It’s real fun that you guys can comment on something that you know nothing about all you see is what is posted in the thread sorry but $90 shipping was a dealbreaker and I let the man know within a couple days so he could get another sale from someone else which he did and I am glad for him
 
I done even want to talk @ it anymore ! I just hope we can save the "perfect" S/G he sent me . Guess I cant complain to much , as all it cost me was Months of wasted time and shipping . Not to mention all the help from fellow members with their parts and time ! Much Mahalo for the help Brothers ! & Sista's for their input ! He turned me down for the last time! No more chances, Left in me !
Anyone need a unmatched pair of X heads and a Sway bar for a 66 Form S Bcuda ? He decided , he cant afford them !

Hmmm, yeah, but at the time you were aware up front of the shipping rate from WA to DE and said you were fine with $90 - you looked it up yourself. Not sure why it took till payday to decide that it was a deal breaker. Yes, in the end, I was able to find another buyer quickly here on the board for which I am grateful. But c'mon, it was time and effort wasted.

Probably headed up after the 5th of July. I have a doctors appointment. I have a 742 5.37 third member I built for 1badcolt I need to deliver to him. And pick up a 70 340 from him. So I need to get up there soon.

I don't think Chris would mind waiting until after that if you want to combine the trip and save shipping. He hasn't said he's in a hurry, just that he'd like his part fixed. What say you Chris? Is Roy's timeline ok with you?

Chris @63spf you should tell the whole story instead of just telling your part of it yeah I decided I can’t afford them because you change the price in the middle of the deal we agreed for $100 for the sway bar and $69 shipping which I could afford you said you could get 250 for the sway bar and that you would like to go that route and I said that was fine then you came back at me with 200+ shipping which I wasn’t going to do because you cut the sway bar mounting in half who does that no one that I know of I see them as unuseable and as far as the X heads they were 200+ my suregrip which we now know is no good but if it was good it was worth 200 to you because the heads were 400 them you change the price on the heads to 600+ the shipping which is $216 The heads are not worth that without valves and springs and retainers they were not even worth your $400 asking price but they are becoming harder and harder to find I made a deal with another member who has a set of X heads that are re-done with valve springs valve job retainers ready to put on the car for $700 so if you’re going to tell a story tell it the way it is and not just tell your half The way you want people to hear it Tell the true story The way it actually is and please don’t forget the parts that I sent Rob which he should receive soon there was a delay in shipping I don’t know the reason but I checked tracking and the shipment is delayed those parts cost me $125 and I am donating them to the cause for free but I believe that you really aren’t a truthful person I believe if you were when you took the short grip apart and found out it was bad you would’ve contacted me and we would’ve handled the matter at hand but no you wanted to put up this thread because you thought that I was trying to rip you off and that was far from the truth so I suspect that you will have more bad things to say about me but that’s OK I have thick skin I can take it One thing I would like to ask going forward please don’t text me I don’t want to do business with you you make a deal and then you reneged on it by changing prices
 
And also about the suregrip I told you I know at least three or four times because you asked that I did not know the history of the suregrip I never said the suregrip was perfect I told you I did not know the history I was going to send it to Roy to have it rebuilt I talked with him about it in private message but I never did anything with it So again I would ask tell the whole story the way it actually is

Chris you would disagree because you were caught in lies I’m not trying to make myself look good I just believe in telling the truth shall I post up the text messages and a phone call that we had a couple days ago when you told me what the prices werePlease let me know I can do that I’m not a IT person but I know someone that is and they can definitely do it for me so I wish you the best but I would say you disagree because you were caught in lies
