I found a guy that has, what looks like an original BB A body K frame and engine brackets. Is there any way to tell if it is original or something made up? And what is a fair price to offer? Thanks, Gene.

I could be wrong, but the originals didn't use spool type motor mounts like the later ones sold through Direct Connection.

A picture would be nice to confirm whether it's original, Direct Connection, or made up.
That would affect the price.

Post pics. I am less an expert on the '67-69 K-members than I am on Direct Connection K-members, but without pics we're just guessing.

This is from a different thread as you can tell.

Looks like '68-69 factory big block K-member. As for value, they have had no consistency over the years as far as value goes. The market is relatively small.

Especially some who transplant big blocks in their A body's don't use stock style big block k frames because the after market HDK type lend itself to headers etc

Also remember that using that k-member means you need the block with the bosses to match.
I’m guessing by the photo you have 383 mounts so those need a block with bosses cast in front of the #1 cylinder.
440 mount uses the bosses on the oil pump mount.
