Hey guys what's the going rate for a rebuildable b block.
I've got a chance to buy 400 with 727 for around 200.
Or a 383 in running condition with 727 core for around 250.
Thoughts on prices and which combo is the best deal is much appreciated.
 
both, you can't find a better deal for 2 motors and 2 727's for 450.

Yeah both, my Step-Son is getting a 440 with a 727 for $400....CHRIST, your getting 2 couple motor and trannys for 50 bucks more!
 
We'll dad and I went to Dighton today. Came home with 2 400s. One is complete carb to oil pan including alternator, exhaust manifolds, and ac compressor. The other is pan to intake complete. We also got one bb 727 and a 383 short block. All of this for 400
 
If anybody is looking for something specific pm me and I'll get a hold of him and see if he has it. We didn't get to see all of his collection but he has a lot of stuff at another location than where we went.
