I am looking at a 70 Dart to buy. It has Rallys on it and looks good, but I like the bigger rear tire look. Post some pics of what you guys have and how you did it. I have a few pics off the net of full tubbed pro streeters but that's too much for me. (although it looks cool) A mini tub or spring relocation is cool. Thanks in advance. This pic is not of the car but what it looks like. (B5, rallys, hood scoops) tmm

On the stock ralleys you can put 245-60-14s and match them with 205-70-14s on the front which will give you about the same sidewall height front and back. You can do this without touching a thing as far as spring relocation. BFG TA radials are readily available in these sizes.

I don't have pics but I test fit a 27560R15 on my brother's '71 Dart with SS springs in the factory location. Never drove the car with them on so I don't know whether they would rub in corners. Had about 1/2"-3/4" clearance on both sides of the tire. He eventually went with a 25560R15. No rubbing during cornering.

71 Dart
I did the spring relocation, mini-tub and shortened rearend.
These are mickey Thompson 28" x 12" x 15"
There is 1-1/2" space on the inside and 1" on the fender side.
The total opening size after mini-tub is 14-1/2"
Good luck, I really like the larger tire look on the back too.
The back still sits too high for my liking, but I will get it back down once it is closer to being completed.

71' swinger

Offset shackle kit
Fender lip trimmed slightly
15X8 Drag Stars
275/60r15 Nitto 555Rs

They are as tight as you can possible go with out mini tubing and relocating the springs inside the frame.

I have the Doctor Diff offset spring hangers, 002 and 003 Super Stock springs, stock width Dana 60, and 28"x9" M/T ET Drags on stock 15"x7" steel wheels. Mild massage to the outer lip.

Thanks for the responses. Let me re-phrase the title. What size rear tires and wheel sizes are you running on your 70-73 Swingers?

mini with metal added to wheel wells... have 295/50/ 15 have room for 295 65 15 or 30 12.50 15 pro tracs or mickeys or comprable... NOTE******** THE CORRECT BACKSPACING WILL NEED TO BE FIGURED OUT TO STUFF TH MOST .....

Apparently I don't ask questions well. I will ask owners at the Nats when I'm there I guess.
If you have a stock 70-73 Swinger what size tires and offset wheels are you running with no modifications? Respond with pics also. Thanks.
