He bought a rear housing off of me a while back.I told him Cash and carry. No Down payments and no ship now pay later I met him at my daughters near Maryland . Paid cash. He was an older guy driving a Dakota pickup

I met with the guy he left me a deposit by personal check and we are going to complete the deal when I get out of the hospital and as far as my other parts Nothing is for sale until I get out of the hospital in March you guys have a good day
I have done a lot of business with him, never any issues. He does have some health issues. Hopefully he will take care of you.

i can only speak frim my own experience.
It’s funny how the new cast jumps on the band wagon to give him a beat down even though lots of them have never even had any kind of dealings with him. Sure I heard some ppl have had problems with him. If so don’t deal with him. I have personally had 10 or more transactions with Bob and not really a problem. A couple of late payments but he has always paid. I keep all parts till he is done paying. Then I ship. Kim

Al I have an old Torker intake if u need was polished,needs cleaned up? For a 440/383should work if u want pictures?

It was on a 440 I had I thought it would also fit a 383? Maybe my inexperience with the swapping of parts. Ill look in a hour.
I'm glad you've had good dealings with him, many have not.
So, opinions vary, and bad dealings are the ones most people remember.
I don't understand these threads over and over again. Only takes a minute to look at someone's feedback profile or do a forum search. If you choose to do business with them, at that point good or bad then it's on you.

I haven't defended anyone. I simply think it's a shame everyone assumes guilt. That's not how it's supposed to work. If it's found out it's not true, then, that's different. I don't wish hospital stays on anyone, so I'm givin the guy the benefit of a doubt just like I would anyone else. I try to gauge people on the NOW and not in the past. That's what's fair.
It is entirely possible that he has had good dealings with some members. I just think the guy sometimes bites off FAR more than he can chew and the other guy is left swinging in the breeze. He tried to buy from me and I shut him down right away. I don't advertise things with the intention of putting them on a 3 week layaway program.

I only had one dealing with him and that was enough. It was for a set of small bolt rally's. Told me he would get them at Carlisle so no shipping. I leave them in the trailer & he shows up I get them out. He then wants to just take them and just pay me later as he had only limited funds with him and wanted to use THAT money for stuff he needs that wasn't "prearranged" to be picked up.. Needless to say that did not happen. That's not how it works with someone you don't know and never dealt with. It was very strange he just assumed I would be ok with that.
