He wanted me to hold parts for him.
I said no.
He offers a down payment until he gets paid in a month.
I said no.

It’s easy folks, have money then purchase.
 
I like how he calls the “Other people” ignorant when that word doesn’t apply and then asks you to go away but yet he contacted you for parts while also attempting to scam them from you.


This guy has been banned before and the powers that he just met him back in even though there told that the old shot stirrring SOB is back.

I think….. this is his forth screen name?
Not including the time where he had one claiming to be his son and not him.
 
yea, thanks to others posting about that weasel, when I saw the PM from Bigboy68 I knew what to expect. I was upfront with him, saying the buyer that shows me the money first gets the parts. His response was hilarious, I am greedy, because I want to get paid for parts sold,, that's funny!

Yet this *** clown screws people with sub part photos and then delivers **** parts and claims “They were great when I sent them… “ Blames everyone but himself.

Calling you greedy makes absolutely no sense at all. He called me greedy because of the same ****. Pretty freaking simple, have cash by part! NO Partial down payment to hold a part for anybody for any amount of time., I got the part, you pay, I say it is that freaking simple, that’s all it is. It’s the way normal people do business. It’s the same thing in the supermarket, you got money, get food, go to register, pay, walk out with food.
 
If people wouldn't keep falling for his shenanigans, he'd be gone by now. Good for you for calling him out! Thanks for the heads up that he's still around trying to pull the same bullshit.
 
Just put him on your ignore list! I did that and the POS had the nerve to get another member to ask me if I would sell him a K member! You probably know what my answer was.
 
I dont do business with him. Simple as that. Got jerked around twice by him. Was enough for me. I just leave him alone now.

I disagree. Respond just like above and let everyone know. Many people have contacted me when I was a MOD as if I could do something. My only response is to let everyone know and many just shy away letting others get screwed.

Oh yes, I agree with letting everyone know. My point is not to respond to him if you don't want to take a chance getting screwed. You can buy and sell from whoever you choose.
 
I guess I must hold my tongue on a differen't side of my mouth...I sold Bigboy68 my /6 hi-volume oil pump...It took a while for his money order to show up, but it did. I didn't send the pump until it did. He recently wanted to buy a /6 radiator I have...I boxed it up (packed it up) and ran the shipping numbers on it. 60.00 Shipping. I told him that with the price of shipping and the cost for the radiator...for a few dollars more (good movie) he could buy a brand new Champion radiator. He agreed and I still have the radiator. Damn! The cost of shipping has gotten absurd. I have to admit, I didn't check with Fastenal, but the last time I did, there wasn't much difference from USPS.
 
I have sold Rob a fair bit of parts on payments. He has always paid. Yes he was late on a couple of payments but he lmk it was gonna be late. When I needed a 340 crank we made a trade for some parts. He sent the crank and paid the shipping even b4 I sent his parts. He seems to do lots of wheeling and dealing. Kim
 
How this guy is still allowed on this site is beyond me. Lol. EVERY one of my longtime friends on fabo has a similar story. Here is the email I got from him after I declined to do a deal.
He wanted me to hold a bunch of stuff for several weeks while he gathered the money. I said no.
He then asked about one small part and I said fine but no waiting and I would only accept PayPal. He had to have a friend (who is a really nice guy) let him use his PayPal account as he didn't have one. He then had his friend send a lesser amount than we agreed on. Thats when I sent his friend the money back(immediately) and declined to finish the deal. Here is his response.....

Everyone has a similar story. “ Can you hold the parts for me till 1st of the month till I get my check? I’m on disability” then the first of the month comes, than the 5th than comes a song and dance. “ I’ve had a family emergency and I won’t be able to do the deal”. Yeah pulled that **** twice on me. While I lost a sale holding it for him! No more!
