Billet oil filter adapter plate for Magnum engines

I just came across this listing on eBay for a billet oil filter adapter plate that mounts in the stock location and appears to have two extra holes for oil flow. I need to get my hands on one of these and check it out. Just posting it so others can see it too.

Canton has been making them for decades

I've had the Canton plate on my 340 for years.

The LA plate and Magnum plate are different. Canton had two different part numbers as well. I thought the Magnum version was discontinued years ago, but maybe I am wrong.

I have a Summit brand LA version I plan to compare at some point.

Why would someone need this adapter plate?

They can be used as a replacement if someone had a Magnum engine block that is missing one but it also has more holes for supposed increased oil flow to the filter.
