Even a blind person can get jumper cables on these

Getting them on isn't the problem. They are such a small diameter, getting them to stay on is the problem.

I've never had a problem myself, but there are options to make it easier

6 gage with Black insulation is factory correct for some years according to the shop manuals. See 1965 for example.

Granted that doesn't make it less annoying if you actually want red.

For a while some stores by me (I think it was NAPA) had them in blue. Was on my Barracuda for quite a while

I like duel-post batteries in my 4x4's.
Use the top posts for the regular truck functions, and hook the winches to the side posts.
I have winches on all my 4x4's.
