Black out hood question

Hey everyone, I hope someone has an answer for me. I'm planning on doing a black out hood treatment to my '67 dart. I have the correct paint but after it's done is there some kind of satin clear coat that you have to put on? Or do you wax it or just leave it alone. Just not sure what to do. Any help would be very welcome!

My dusters hood is blacked-out,and finished with satin clear,i just wipe it down when needed with Mothers back to black,or vinyl rubber treatment comes out real nice...
