Blower motor mod for AC box?

I am needing to do the blower motor mod on my dart to make room for valve covers, but all the different mods ive seen are for a Non-AC heater box. Has anyone done the mod to an AC car and if so, is it the exact same thing? I thought some comments i read that the AC box was much different to mod.

I have the same problem. Did you find a mod that works for the a/c box?

I did! I took the unit out and put a Vintage air unit in. Probably not what you wanted to hear but my A/C developed several expensive problems

I was thinking that may be the wisest way to go!
