35 or 40 years ago, a guy I worked with told me about a buddy of his who would buy cars from car auctions, and among other detailing tricks would cut the tire sidewalls with some sort of machine and color the groove with a color which would suit the particular car, like blue or red or yellow, or white. The guy claimed that just the sidewall treatment routinely increased the re-selling price of the car several hundred dollars worth.Saw this at a car show over the weekend. Just curious What you guys think. He had various colors, red , blue, white and others.

I got the Diamondbacks in 225/60R15. They make them in red, blue, yellow, or white. But since this car came with red lines, I though they were appropriate.
