Has anyone had any experience with Blue Print Engines? They have a 408 Stroker short block that seems pretty reasonable. $2,428.00 Shipped. Thoughts?

Just my 2 cents. But I'd pass. There is a reason why the cost is low.

Love mine! No problems at all. Everything check out and runs awesome. Got about 500 miles on it now and I've been beating on it pretty hard.

Here it is in all it glory. One tip if you put one together, don't cheap out on what you put on it and it doesn't take much to spend another 4k after the short block is bought.

Haven't got mine finished yet, likely not installed till fall so the jury will be out for some time for me. For the money, the parts used and what machining processes have been performed (quite a bit) it's a deal. Mine came with an 89 LA roller block, magnum rods w/ARP bolts, KB 416 .040" pistons. I've inspected it enough and along with my experience with engines have no worries whatsoever. My thoughts? Do as much research as you can to decide.
