Some 727's have drilled & tapped holes on the tailshaft housing for a damper weight but mine doesn't.I would like to add these to my trans so I can mount a damper. Does anyone have a factory drilled & tapped housing they can measure for me? I also need to know the thread size & diameter. I marked my housing in the photo where the holes would be. Thanks!

You don't need it. IIRC, it was a C body thing for vibration from long drive shafts maybe.
