Hey FABO!

I know this is a long shot, but I'm gonna take a swing...
This has been cross posted on one of the truck sites also.

Looking for a body mounting bolt for my 1975 Trailduster.
The threads on my original are pooched.

Thank you

What size is the threaded portion? Looks like 1/2-20...
If so, get a 1/2-20 x 5" grade 8 bolt, slide a nice thick washer on it followed by a 1/2" ID x 5/8" OD (looks like, take your own measurements) x 2.75 long steel bushing. If you really need the pilot on the end, just carefully grind it in on your bench grinder. Hardware store parts, take about 5 minutes to make.
Adjust the above measurements if I'm mistaken about the thread size.

Yes, this is the road I'll most likely have to go down.

None of the hardware stores in town carry a 5" long 1/2"-20 bolt. 1/2"-13, no problem. They have up to 7", but no fine thread.

So, I'll need to order one on-line. I was just hoping someone might have it in their stash.
I found a 2.75" bushing while I was there, so I grabbed that in anticipation of this solution. The OD of the bushing is larger, so I'll have to bore out the poly body mount bushing that it runs through.
