Bore Gauge

I'm looking for a middle of the road cylinder bore gauge. Don't want any Chinese crap but a Sunnen is out of my price range. I tried "search" and got so much superfluous stuff I gave up. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

ebay, look for standard, mitutoyo, and sunnen in that order. Make sure you are in the desired range.

Or a nice set of older Starretts. New ones are so-so; offshore now.

I'm leery of eBay because you never know what kind of treatment the tools have gotten. I'll try the tools wanted approach here first.
