Brake Master position

Im running a 383 in a 72 duster with f/w exit hedders and power booster on the the brakes my question is has anyone relocated the master and resovoir into the and under the dash of the car as you know space in the engine bay is tight with a big block and im planning on going rb in the future

Space under the dash is even tighter.
The factory did make a vertical offset mount for under the hood to raise the master and or the booster. but to use it you have to use the matching small diameter booster, which is a dual-diaphragm, which in my experience does not do well with a low manifold vacuum signal.

can't you ditch the booster and run manual brakes? much more room that way.

Lots of people with A-bodies do just that. But 1 inch plus sizes of M/C do require a bit of muscle and modulation ain't that great. I installed a 15/16 bore M/C and was quite happy.
