Wondering where I can get a good tool that pushes the pistons back into place? It is for a 74 Duster......Just want one that works well and not overly expensive. Thanks...............

I picked up one many years ago at an Autozone. Shouldn't be too hard to find and not expensive. Basically a plate, threaded stud and knob.

A c-clamp will work or a large pair of channel lock pliers......

Open the bleeder first.

I use a big pair of channel locks. Or open the bleeder and put a big screw driver in between the pads and rotor and push it back. Usually do this to make sure everything is moving the way it should.

A C clamp with one of the old pads works fine too. You just need to unbolt the cylinder from it's mount. That way you are not pushing more on one side of the piston than the other.

Holy Christ how the hell did you justify digging this up?

always used a c-clamp. just bought the proper tool last year. pepboys or any parts store should have it.. sears too..
