brake rotors-HELP!

will any 70-89 car brake rotors with the 5x4.5 bolt pattern fit my 74 dart sport? say dodge diplomat,chrysler 5th avenue rotors? cuz im gonna go to the parts store tomorrow or tuesday to get rotors for my dart and im doubting theyll have dart sport rotors in stock as i need them ASAP
 
i would check off line if the part numbers are the same. If not i wouldn't try it.

Why not call ahead and see if they have them in stock?
 
i dont have any part numbers to go by. ill call em tomorrow to see if tehy got em but im HIGHLY doubting theyll have em as there not popular cars around here
 
It is a very common brake rotor. It fit's alot more than just your dart. Wouldn't make sense for MaMopar to make a rotor for just one model of vehicle that didn't cost alot to begin with. Keeps production costs down. It will probably be around $40 each.
 
ya i just wanted to make sure so i could possibly find em cheaper and easier. i found my dads Chrysler Performance Upgrades book (one with the yellow duster on the cover) and it says the 73-76 a-bodies use the same rotors as 73-75 b-bodies,73-74 e bodies, and F/J/M bodies. so hopefully o'reillies will have somethin in stock so i can get this **** done before the 31st (mopars in the park)
 
I got my 73-76 LBP rotors for my 66 Valiant from Checker, in stock!! They are also the same for my 1974 Satellite, should be pretty common. Don't forget to check your wheel bearings and get new seals for the rotors! See you at Mopar's in the Park!! 8)
 
how much did they cost at checkers?? i prefer o'reillies as i get a discount hehehe. hope to meet up with you. look for a red sart sport on wire wheels:-D
 
Not sure, around $40 each? I will have my 1966 Valiant at the show, stop and say hi!

NAPA Auto had Rotors for $29.99 each, $63.03 with taxes. The rear drums for a '74 Duster were something like $48.00 each.

Hate to argue my Eggo eatin friend, but there's no way BBP rotors will fit on a 66-67 Dart. Makes me wonder how much of that info is correct.

My Oreilly store has their cheap line of rotors (Brakebest) in stock for $35.99. You can go to www.Oreillyauto.com and put in your info (zip code, year, make and model) and it will tell you if the parts for your car are in stock at your local store. Pretty cool. Plus, my neighbor works there and gets me cost plus 10%

I found reasonably brakes rotors (Wagner / Raybestos) for my SBP 1971 340 Duster, for a reasonable price and availability is shipping in 2 days!
Also, they have the correct rear brake drums for my SBP 8.75 rear!

A lot better than going through the hassle and cost of switching to new BBP stuff and BBP wheels, when I'm trying to keep the car original!
