Yes. It appears that way. It sliced a tire, and piled about 10 lbs of field debris underneath. But so far it appears to be cosmetic.

We had to straighten the radiator saddle and the radiator mounting tabs. But that was never completely straight before so it’s actually better than it was.

Our old fender had a lot of filler in it. So the fenders is actually better also
 
What kind of paint gun you using? Tip sizes, pressures? Thanks.
 
Parts here in the Mitten are supposed to be dried in the house, preferably in the wife’s walk in closet, Becky knows that! No wonder they didn’t dry! I agree with every post above, you guys are nailing this setback, and I know the car WILL be ready. As for jobs and sleep, that all can come later, I’m sure the boss will understand!

I hated seeing the damage to the car but the story of watching three generations come together and work on the repair is the reason I continue to love this site every day!! Congratulations to all of you, super nice work and a wonderful lesson as well!!
 
Wow I cant believe what has taken place in the last week. I just found this thread and can see the love in the family that is putting this back together fast.
 
And done. Has all three gears and a slight pull to the left……probably needs an alignment. Lol.

But……we will be making the prom.

Overcoming Adversity 101. You guys passed with flying colors. Boy, will Jason have stories to tell during dinner...

For Fathers Day ask for a dehumidifier and get it rigged up it in that there garage!

You have no idea how proud of this boy I am.

He’s trying to win best car at prom. The easy way would’ve been to tell everybody the story and gain easy votes.

He didn’t want to win that way. He wanted to win based off of his marriage. So literally two of his close friends know and that’s it. Nobody else at school knows what happened. Because he doesn’t wanna win that way.

As most of us know, it’s usually a popularity contest. But whether he wins best car or not, he already won in my book. I couldn’t be prouder of him.

He has the best car by a mile. As long as HE knows that, that's all that counts.
