Found some buckets out of a 66 Barracuda,how different are they from a 69 Dart.Are the frame and padding similar,can they be recovered with Dart covers from Legendary? Thanks in advanced,Todd
The main difference between early A bucket frame and 67 up is the height of the seat back. The very top member of frame in the early seat back is round tubing and about 3/4 inch taller. In 67 up the factory reshaped the same piece to square which made it shorter and also punched holes through it for the headrests. 69 seat skins will almost fit the earlier frame. To make them fit perfect you would need to alter that top member.
