i have a set of 73 dart sport seats with new legandary auto interiors seat covers trying to find any information on doing it my self for a driver:burnout:it doesnt have to b perfect just decent

The seat foam should be replaced at the same time as the upholstery. The original seat foam is probably rotted out, flaking off, and sunken in from years of use. Legendary sells the seat foam. As far as doing the job yourself, unless you have some upholstery knowledge, it would be much better to take the seats, new foam, and new upholstery to an upholstery shop and have a professional do the job. It should probably cost less than $100 if you take the seats out of the car yourself, reinstall them yourself, and since you are supplying the materials.

Condition of your bun will make a difference on the final product as mentioned above. You can also add foam to your seats if need be.

There is a thread on here where a member said he put the new covers in a dryer to make them easier to work with. Being that I was a mattress manufacturer and have done some interiors this soulds like a plausable idea. I have laid them in the sun inside a hot car and that helped getting them installed correctly.
