bucket seats from a FIAT spider

i found a nice pair of bucket seats from a Fiat Spider and I am wondering if they can some how be rigged to go in my 68 valiant?

They are real leather too!!!! only thing is they are brown and my interior is black.

Any comment is much appreciated.

Sure. I made brackets to install Sebring seats in my 65 Dart. The Fiat is narrower, so you might want to think what to do with all the extra space, like maybe put in a wide center console from an SUV.

Seats are sort of like furniture in your home. You wouldn't place a chair in such a way that you couldn't close the door would you ?
So knowing that there is less space on the right of the trans tunnel, place the right seat there, sit in it. Can you close the door ? Can you get you hands to the seat release levers while the door is closed ? Are the seatbelts or other going to be a problem ? We cant answer these questions unless we had previously tried the same seats in an A-body.
If they do fit, the only challenge left is to get the height and angle right and bolt them down.
